What this website collects
Messages you send us
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), what your message is about, and your message. The form emails this to the club. It is not stored on the website. We use it only to reply to you, because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep messages in the club’s email for as long as we need to deal with them, and then delete them within [To confirm: how long, for example 12 months].
To stop spam, the website keeps a scrambled code made from your internet address for one hour, and then deletes it. We cannot readily identify you from it. We do this to keep the website secure, which is in our legitimate interests.
Who else handles it

Photos, names and results
We publish the names of club officers, team selections, competition draws, results, honours and photos of club events, because they are part of running a bowls club. If you would rather not appear on the website, tell us and we will remove your name or photo.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to us using it, including where we rely on legitimate interests. To make a request, contact us through our contact page; we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first.
