Our open leagues are organised games rather than roll-ups, played in two-hour sessions on weekday afternoons and evenings. The 2026/27 winter league season starts around the first week of October, and all members are invited to enter a team of up to eight players.
Fixtures, results and leader boards
The league secretaries keep this season’s fixtures, results and leader boards up to date in these spreadsheets (they open on Google Sheets).

How to enter a team
Entries close at the end of April for the summer season and at the end of August for the winter season. To take part you need:
- An organiser (training is available if needed).
- A team of about six paid-up members of the Newport Indoor men’s or ladies’ clubs, before the season starts.
- The day or days you would like to play, afternoon or evening.
Your organiser draws up a rota of four team members to play each week, so that everyone plays the same number of matches in the season. Each match lasts two hours, and the rink fee is £6. There are league rules to guide you through everything.
There may be places in an existing team: see the sheet on the club notice board.
